ObamaCare: The Chart - a Bureaucratic, Jobs-Killing Nightmare from Top to Bottom

Members of the Joint Economic Committee released an updated version of the infamous chart depicting the maze of new bureaucracies, boards, commissions, and red tape that define ObamaCare. If you're wondering where you, the patient, fit into this mess, check down in the bottom right-hand corner. Yep, there you are, right near a handful of the new mandates, regulations, and taxes you face:

House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) has said that Republicans will fight to repeal ObamaCare and start over with common-sense reforms that will lower costs. And if they can't repeal it, a GOP Majority "can at least assure 'not a dime' to fund" the dozens of bureaucracies and new federal employees required to impose this devastating law.

Before Democrats rammed ObamaCare into law over the objection of the American people, a group of 130 prominent economists signed a letter saying the new law is a jobs-killer. Here's a reminder:

>> Repeal the 'Jobs Killer,' Start Over: "More than 130 economists recently signed a statement warning that a government takeover of health care would destroy American jobs. But Democrats didn't listen. … We need to repeal this jobs-killing government takeover of health care and enact real reforms that will lower health care costs and help small businesses get back to creating jobs." (By John Boehner, AOL News, 3/30/10)

>> 130 Economist Tell White House: Health Care Bill is a Job Killer: "In addition to all it's other problems, economists also say the health care bill is a job killer, too.  They point to all the tax hikes needed to pay for the new $1,000,000,000,000+ entitlement as slowing economic growth and job creation." (FreedomWorks, 3/18/10)

>> Republicans Release Economists' Letter Opposing Health Bill: "In a letter released by House Minority Leader John Boehner (R., Ohio), the economists said, 'The new and higher taxes on America's small businesses and workers included in the bill are detrimental to job creation and economic growth, especially now given the fragile state of the economy.'" (Fox Business, 3/18/10)
