About Todd

Todd Platts is seeking re-election to Congress for the same reason he first sought elected office - his unwavering commitment to public service.

Born and raised in the 19th District, Todd has been involved in community service for over 30 years. Todd credits his parents, Barbara (Babs) and the late Russell (Dutch) Platts, with teaching him the important lesson of giving back to one’s community.

Todd has always fought to make a difference in how government serves the people. Todd’s education and work experience, including his work as a warehouse laborer and his four terms in the PA House of Representatives, have helped him to be a hard working, knowledgeable, and responsible Congressman.
